Our Community Hall Site

Our Committee 2012/2013 have pledged to apply for posession of the site for our Community's future community hall. After enquiry and advice from Mr Wong, Marketing Manager of Plenitude Bhd. We proceed to apply for "Temporary Occupancy Land" (TOL) permit.

We have written to Majlis Perbandaran Sepang for approval to apply the said land from Pejabat Daerah Tanah Sepang on 8th May 2012
We received approval/consent from Majlis Perbandaran Sepang on 21st June 2012 letter dated 18th June 2012
On 21st June 2012,we went to Majlis Daerah Tanah Sepang immediate received the letter from Majlis Perbandaran Sepang. But was told that w.e.f. 19th June 2012 the Selangor State Government have freeze all Government land application. No specific time frame for the freeze on land application.
On 2nd July 2012 we received official letter dated 26th June 2012 stating that they are unable to consider our application as instructed by Selangor State Government.

We have not choice by to wait for the ban to be lifted. We hope by obtaining the "TOL" permit,we can plane and raise fund for building a community hall for our Taman Putra Prima Fasa 2A. all hopes are not gone,we shall soldier on and try to make this Community Hall a reality.

  1. Personally I do not agree that we need to build another Community Hall.

Our old Community Hall (now a police beat station) was neglected and full with weeds for so many years. We use it for 1-2 times a year only. I'm so thankful that the police came and clean up the area. They make the place clean and secure.

Please do not make the same mistake again. What if our future AJK no longer active? Who will use or maintain the site? Whenever we have a function/gathering, we can just rent a tent. It is cheaper and cleaner this way.

  2. Thank you for your valuable reply. Just to share with you. the current pondok polis was actually built for tabika/tadika. Our vision of Community hall is of a proper hall with stage and badminton courts and proper car park. It can be used for private functions (residents) And have activites for young, youth or even evening tution classes.

    But now everthing on KIV.

    Cheers
