Rezoning of residential to Commercial

Update :

Our KRT letter (Bantahan) was submitted to YDP Mohd Sayuthi Bin Bakar office on 17th December 2012, with cc copy to En Ismail Bin Muhamad , Pengarah , Jabatan Perancangan Bandar & Encik Santokh Singh Ahli Majlis Sepang Putra (Our Ahli Majlis En Pulanthran is overseas and will be back by end month) by hand at Majlis Perbandaran Sepang, Cyberjaya.

We sent a letter another letter (Bantahan) together with signatures from Persatuan Penduduk form phase 1A & 1B, 2B, 2E, 4A, 4B. 4C and 8A to  YDP Mohd Sayuthi Bin Bakar office on 19th December 2012 and cc to Mr Santokh Singh at Majlis Perbandaran Sepang, Cyberjaya. A Copy of signatures from residents from Taman Putra Prima also submitted too.

Dear Residents

The two plot of land in front of our guardhouse will be converted to Commercial Zone. This issue was highlighted by our resident Mr CW Pang to us via our KRT facebook.

A letter of objection have been draft and will be signed by all main Committee members and be delivered by hand to YDP's office at Majlis Perbandaran Sepang early tomorrow morning (15th Dis 2012). The letter is cc to Ismail Bin Muhamad , Pengarah, Jabatan Perancangan Bandar ; Encik Pulanthran A/L Munisamy, Ahli Majlis, Taman Mas/Taman Putra Prima; Encik Santokh Singh A/L Gurdev Singh, Ahli Majlis , Sepang Putra. Mr Pulanthran is in oversea on holiday now, we will meet up with him ASAP.

A second letter  will be draft (& signed with all Resident Associations of Taman Putra Prima ) and sent to YDP

This will be followed by a memorandum to be signed by all residents who will be supporting to this objection of rezoning of the said land.

Why we need to stop the land from converting to commercial zone? Let me just pick some figures from thin air. Presume they build estimated 300 units double storey shoplots....that translate to est around extra 1200 vehicles traffic. What if two storey shoplots with 3 storey apartment above.....est 2,500 vehicles increase in  traffic. Next how about something like the Wharf or even A hypermarket????? Another 1 utama??? How will the residents suffered??? Do bear in mind the traffic about to be generated from the developement behind Taman Mas. And X-2 Condominium expected to ready in a year time. Will there is enough space for road expansion on Lingkaran Putra Prima (From Tekali to Taman Mas) ?

Advertising Illegally

During our Committee members walk about we have find many eyesore signs,banners & posters being billed at trees, lamp post road sign even at traffic sign.Don't we all residents want to live in a beautiful environments ???

We have a section in our blog here which offer free advertisement. So to beautify our neighborhood and get free advertisement space. Use our blog BUY SELL section here http://tmnputraprima2a.blogspot.com/p/buy-sell.html  The purpose of this blog is to reach our Residents and your road side advertisements also to reach our Residents...post in our blog. That's killing two birds with a stone.

By posting on road signs/lamp post/trees/traffic sign is not only an eyesore but also illegal in Municipal bylaw (those without MP Sepang approval). 

The Committe will arrange a Gotong Royong style activity to removed all signs/posters/banners without Majlis Perbandaran Sepang approval. Photos will be taken of those being removed. If these illegal postings is repeated, we will not hesitate to report them to MP Sepang.

Hazards at back lane

9th April 2012

During our committee members walk about, we have found some parts of the back lanes are block with building material and large dumps . This will caused inaccessibility to vehicles. According to Municipal bylaw it's an offense and summons will be issued to house owner nearest to the pile of rubbish. The blockage of the back lane will cause delay in rescue work in case of emergencies. This will BOMBA / AMBULANCE easy access which will hamper rescue effort.

Residents are advice to cooperate in this matters by removing all piles of rubbish and construction materials. This is for safety of ourselves.


This tree have grown out of a residential house, This will cause in convenience to large vehicle access especially BOMBA.The rubbish/construction materials piles in the background.



These Water Apples (Jambu Air) are rotting and cause foul smell and maggots. These is a health hazard to neighbours.The rubbish/construction materials piles in the background.Closed up in foreground.
The Water Apples also clogged up the drains.

Damaged Fence at playground

This was reported by a resident via our Talk2US section.

great job on posting the blog. I would like to suggest that community allocate some amount of money to repair fence near play ground as stray dog foraging around for food. 

The Committee ~ The committee will take immediate action to repair the mentioned section as soon as the we get the authority letter for the signatory change of our bank account to the new committee.
