Rough Start

It had been a turbulence two months for KRT Committee 2012/2013. We lost our Secretary (He resigned) a few days after our very first meeting. Our Chairman blame upon himself for our Secretary's resignation, which is not true to the case. I for one been put to replace the vacant seat. It's was like, OMG I know nuts about being a Secretary. And writing Minutes is bad enough of an experience for me and to add salt to injury, it's got to be in Bahasa Malaysia (Given the fact I excelled in barely staying above the redline in BM during my school life) .

First month into our term it was total chaos for me, not knowing how a Rukun Tetangga supposed to function proper. With assistance from En Redzy (Penolong Pegawai Jabatan Perpaduan & Intigrasi Negara Daerah Sepang) and Mr Sukumar (Chairman KRT 2010/2011) who was kind enough to explained to me.

Then come April 2012.....a tsunami waves of break-in happened with a total of 4 cases. But hope with the last case, the Police are able to solve and apprehend the suspect/s.

Fortunately we have a committed & dedicated Committee, whereby we follow the principle of "Together Everyone Achieve More" coupled by our Chairman Jimmy & Deputy Chairman Sarawanan diplomatic and persistent leadership strength we managed to move forward.

After many lengthy  meetings ,brainstorming YUM CHAR & TEH TARIK sessions, we are able to come up with the following projects to address the Security Issues and to safeguard our community.

Security Projects

We also have developed a good rapport with the Police, which in the few break-in incident they responded within 10mins. We also have the support from a few Residents Associations in Putra Prima to collect signature from their respective neighbourhood, together we submit to Majlis Perbandaran Sepang / Majlis Perbandaran Subang Jaya to install traffic lights at Lingkaran Putra Prima & Jalan Putra Prima junction (near Kawanku Rest).Hope with the traffic lights it will reduce accidents and morning traffic jams.

We have apply to Majlis Perbandaran Sepang for Temporary Occupation of Land  for the piece of community land next to our playground for our future use.

I would like to thank the most is our Residents for not firing their Tear gases & Water cannons at us  for the slow progress. Also a big thank you for those Residents who supported us by paying up to date their Security fees.Special thanks to 25, Jln PP 1/2  & 7 Jln PP 1/3 for paying upfront till Dec 2012 and a numbers of residents for paying upfront till June 2012 and beyond.
