Kepada semua penduduk-penduduk Taman Putra Prima Fasa 2A, 1A&1B, 2B, 2E, 3A, 3B, 4A, 4B, 4C, 4D, 8A dan 8B serta penduduk-penduduk Taman Mas, pihak Ahli Jawatankuasa KRT Taman Putra Prima Fasa 2A ingin mengucapkan Selamat Hari Raya Qurban kepada semua yang beragama Islam

ASAL USUL AIDILADHA

BAGAIMANA RAKYAT MALAYSIA MENYAMBUT AIDILADHA

Visitors causing Hardship to RESIDENTS

For the past two weeks, visitors' from Tadika Sri Mentari (1) {Little Sunshine Learning House} have on many occasions cause massive traffic jam at our Taman entrance and not being cooperative. The last  two days(16 & 17th)  was worst as one visitor just park his car there and walk in.

This morning, 18th October 2012, our committee members consist of President Jimmy Chiew, Secretary Terence Choong, Treasurer Steve Jong, AJK James Wong, AJK Mohd Nazree, AJK Steven Wong and AJK Soma were at the guardhouse to assist our security guards.

Our secretary spoke to the person who have been parking his car at the entrance for the past 2 days and explain our security check procedures to him. When he was fully understand the whole situation he ask our secretaryto indentify himself. Our secretary identify himself as KRT secretary Terence Choong. He immediately he gave an expression of surprise "Your are Terence .......you are nice person to speak to........"

From this we can deduce that Tadika Sri Mentari (1) people have given some false accusation/misleading information about our secretary. We have seen a few visitors asking for restricted security pass application forms too. All was settle thanks to the united and cooperative team of Committee Members.

The chronology of events leading to the chaos morning hardship caused to our Residents.

In the month of April 2012, there were four cases of house break-in reported in our Taman Putra Prima Phase 2A. [ 1st & 2nd case, 3rd case and 4th case ] An emergency committee meeting was held to address the issue and multi security measures and implementations were drawn out, restricted security pass for visitors being one of them.

On 21st May 2012, letters were sent to Tadika Sri Mentari (1) (Little Sunshine Learning House), Taska Sha-Sha Sayang and Tadika Everland (M) Sdn Bhd. informing of our implementation of Restricted Security Pass with  terms and conditions. 3 days later all applications forms were distributed to all 3 kindergartens.

By end of May, all applications from Taska Sha-Sha Sayang & Tadika Everland (M) Sdn Bhd were received and passes were issued by first week of June 2012.For your information Tadika Everland have shifted to Meranti Jaya due to expansion. Here we would like to take this opportunity to thank Taska Sha-Sha Sayang & Tadika Everland for their cooperation and support during our restricted security pass implementation.

Only Tadika Sri Mentari (1) did not submit any forms and been making our committee member going to meet them repeatedly.

We received Tadika Sri Mentari (1) applications only on 28th June 2012 and passes were issue with a few forms being returned to them on 29th June for incomplete or with errors. Upon receiving their application forms, we find that they have blank off additional vehicle numbers on the forms. Our Chairman called up the Principle Ms Ho Jen Lian to double confirm the deleted vehicle numbers, he was rudely asked to just follow what was in the forms thus we proceed.

About 3 days after we delivered the passes to Tadika Sri Mentari (1), we start to put the restricted security pass in force. There was much chaos at our security guards was given hell of a rough time and with abusive words by Tadika Sri Mentari (1) visitors. So our Chairman made an appointment to meet Ms Ho on a Saturday together with our secretary to settle this issue.(Please note not all Tadika Sri Mentari (1) visitors are problematic)

On that day upon arriving 45 minutes late together with a man she claim is her husband, without even a single word of apology for being late. She went on saying her students parents are getting assistance from YB (YB as Yang Berhormat referring to Member of Parliament/State Assemblymen ) and that man started to question the rights of KRT pertaining to security issue.

Then about 3 week ago, we fully enforced the restricted security pass, this time round the Tadika Sri Mentari (1) visitors became more abusive and troublesome. They have every intention to cause massive morning traffic and hardship for our resident, hoping the residents will complaint and have us stop the enforcement. Sure enough, a few residents came to us and enquire what is wrong with the visitors. We would like to thank our residents for being so understanding and supportive to us for coming to talk to us and not "fire tear gases & water cannons" at us. One even volunteer to have a petition to gather residents signatures to have Tadika Sri Mentari (1) stop operation in our Taman. We thank him and rejected his/her kind offer.

Then on 12th October, our Chairman received a letter from Ms Ho.

On 16th October, 9.23pm our Chairman received a phone call from a person named Mr Kuan (019-2316666) claiming he was calling on behalf YB Dato Sri' Mohd Zin , Member of Parliament of Sepang to enquiry why we cause hardship to the students' parents. As our Chairman was at Kawanku Restaurant having a meeting with 6 Residents Associations' Chairmen from Taman Putra Prima, he just explain in brief.

Our secretary received a call from a man (014-6415282) at 5.25pm on 17th October , demanding why we are causing hardship to the students parents. Our secretary tried to explain to this Indians man (his voice sounds like one), he keep hankering on what we should do instead of listening to our side of the story....finally after trying in vain to have a decent human conversation with that guy, our secretary told him to fly kite and hang up. We should said our secretary was quite an idiot to be speaking on the phone for about 10 mins, when that person don't even dare to introduce himself...atleast his name. But no he did right as our committee members are very accommodating (with limit).

We have send a letter to YB Dato' Sri Mohd Zin on 17th October to highlight to Dato' Sri of this incident.
And at the same time we sent a letter in reply to Tadika Sri Mentari (1) letter.
After this restricted security pass exercise, we found that Tadika Sri Mentari (1) have submitted about 70 applications meaning that majority of their students are non-residents of our Taman. Note none of the applications forms submitted have applied for only a pass each. As the passes only cater for visitors we can concluded that their kindergarten caters more for outsiders than the needs of our community. Thus to the opinion of our secretary's that's why an Educationist like herself doesn't care about the safety and security of our Taman. And with around 100 people including teachers and staffs in a mere 1,500 sq ft built up area , we find it is not a conducive and healthy environment.

To all Residents kindly comment your views and suggestions for us to consider at our next course of action. Our secretary have suggested that we should take up the offer by one of our residents as above. Your feed back is essential at this time of moment. Our committee have wasted a lot of our valuable time with Tadika Sri Mentari (1). We still have much projects for the improvements of our neighbourhood. One major one coming up will be getting a Primary Chinese school for Taman Putra Prima.

Community Hall

Our Secretary saw a need for a community hall for Taman Putra Prima and as the piece of land reserved for community hall in located next to our playground, he took upon the task to have a community hall built with agreement by majority of our committee members.
Community Hall reserve land highlight in red

In order to raise fund for any building,we need to have at least Temporary Occupancy Land 'TOL' before we can proceed,

We approached Mr Wong Soon Weng, Asst Manager of Sales & Marketing, Plenitude Permai Sdn Bhd for assistance. He and their Project Manager Mr Ngor (Have left Plenitude a couple months ago) was very helpful by giving advice on how to apply for the piece of land.

We went to Selangor land office in Bandar Baru Salak Tinggi to apply TOL for the community hall land. Land office said it would not be difficult for us to obtain the TOL but we required to get consensus from Majlis Perbandaran Sepang.

We wrote to MP Sepang on 8th May 2012 for their consensus for our application.

We received a call from Majlis Perbandaran Sepang that they have approved our request on 18th June 2012 and to collect the approval letter from MP Sepang. As our Secretary was out station at that time, we managed to get the letter on 21st June and proceed straight to Selangor land to proceed with our application. Upon arriving at land office. We were told SELANGOR STATE GOVERNMENT have freeze all Government reserve land applications as at 19th June 2012.

A big blow to us as it's so near yet so far!

Do we stop here? Show these few letters to our residents and say we had tried our best! NO! On 8th August , we wrote to our Prime Minister YAB Dato Sri Najib Tun Razak for assistance.

We received a cc letter date 11th September 2012 En Iskandar Mohd Kaus, Tim Ketua Setiausaha Sulit  kepada Perdana Menteri to Datuk Haji Ghani Bin Salleh, Pengarah of Pejabat Pembangunan Persekutuan Negeri Selangor to look into our application.

Now we shall follow up with Datuk Haji Ghani Bin Salleh and keep you posted of the developement.

Playground Lightings & Traffic lights

UPDATE:
As at 14:45 the traffic lights are fully operational. Once again we would like to thank Majlis Perbandaran Sepang and especially Mr Pulanthran our local councillor for Taman Mas/Taman Putra Prima for his effort to follow up with Majlis Perbandaran from installation till commissioning.

UPDATE :

The traffic lights are finally up after an accident and assistance from Mr Pulanthran, Ahli Majlis Taman Mas/Taman Putra Prima and Mr Santokh Singh Ahli Majlis, Sepang Putra (We meet at MPS on 19th December and highlight the problem to him ) And on 20th December the contractor came and started the testing & commissioning , now we have blinking orange light. Hope the contractor can finalize the T&C before 2013.

PLAYGROUND LIGHTINGS
Our resident Mr Ong See Kim email to our committee to request for assistance in applying for lights in our playground on 27th March 2012.

Mr Ong's email

Email attachment
As we were newly elected committee with immediate security issues to attend to; couple with fulfilling activities required by Jab Perpaduan Negara & Integrasi Negara as a KRT,we were unable to attend to it at that period of time But at the same time we were sourcing the relevant informations on how to go about it not forgetting to develope rapport with Majlis Perbandaran Sepang.

On 22nd Julai we send a letter to YDP Mohd Sayuthi Bin Bakar, Yang Dipertua Majlis Perbandaran Sepang to apply for the playground lightings.

We received a letter by Majlis Perbandaran Sepang dated 10th August 2012 stating that they have approved our application and the lightings for our playground will be ready before December 2012.

TRAFFIC LIGHTS
The junction of Lingkaran Putra Prima (Main road from Tekali) and Jalan Putra Prima (Main road entering Taman Putra Prima) have been many accidents happened (minor and major) thought so far no serious or fatal one but we don't to wait until there is to do something about it.

On another less serious note, it's an inconvenience for residents to exit Taman Putra Prima via that junction in the morning due to heavy traffic from Tekali direction to Taman Mas. Thus this in turn cause a grid lock for our phase 2A residents to exit to Jalan Putra Prima.

Acknowledge this problems, we wrote to MP Sepang together with our playground lights application.

We received a cc letter dated 10th August 2012, from Majlis Perbandaran Sepang to Majlis Perbandaran Subang Jaya stating that they have approve the traffic light application and the traffic lights will be installed by November 2012.

Although these issues are not in the scope of Kaw Rukun Tetangga, as a committee we will try to attend to this issues to our residents satisfaction. KRT main objective is Security and promotion of Unity via activities. Nevertheless by solving issues for our community, our committee feel it indirectly an activities of unity..........
